Girl Scout Sleepaway Camp

Weekend Jamborees

Join Circle F Dude Ranch for jamboree-style action-packed weekends with your Girl Scout troop. These special weekends have been designed with Girl Scouts in mind. Our all-inclusive package includes a horseback trail ride, swimming, boating, archery session, climbing at the Alpine Tower and Giant Swing, and a campfire complete with s’mores, hayrides, and a dance party. Please note Circle F Girl Scout Weekends are for only female scouts, female troop leaders, and female parents/guardians.

Girl Scout Camp Activities

Circle F schedules a time slot for each troop to participate at the Alipine Tower and archery, and an hour and a half block for a horseback trail ride. One week before your weekend, Circle F will email troop leaders with the rotation schedule for the Alpine Tower, archery, horseback rides, and hayrides. The Girl Scout Weekend schedule also allows flexibility for girls to connect and play with each other at the waterfront and sports fields.

Horseback Riding

Enjoy a walking trail ride through part of our 500 acres of Florida wilderness.

Alpine Tower & Giant Swing

Make it to the top of our 60’ climbing structure and try our Giant Swing! (See activity note below.)

Archery

Experience the excitement of the sport of archery with our compound bows. Our staff are Level I USA Olympic Archery Instructors. (See activity note below.)

Odyssey Course

Circle F’s Odyssey High Ropes course has six elements across two levels, one at about 15 feet and the other at about 35 feet off the ground. Groups or individuals may choose to pre-register for a one-hour block at the course for an additional charge of $35 per person. (See note.)

Sports

Complimentary sports equipment will be available at the camp office. You may use the basketball court, volleyball court, soccer field, kickball field, gaga pit, and tennis courts.

Waterfront

Relax on our white sand beach, take a swim, and bounce and slide on our water inflatables. Explore the coves of our 43-acre, spring-fed lake by taking out one of our kayaks or canoes for a paddle.

Lifejackets are required when boating or using our inflatables. Lifeguards will be on duty during specific times to guard the inflatable sections. Swimming inside of the dock area is at your own risk.

Fishing

Participants are welcome to fish in our well-stocked lake, if they bring their own fishing poles. Catch and release only.

SWAPS

Troops may choose to participate in SWAPS if they would like.

Campfire, Hayride, and Dance Party

Circle F hosts a campfire party on Saturday night, complete with a hayride, s’mores, and outdoor dance Party.

Girl Scout Lodging

Troops stay in our rustic bunkhouse-style cabins that can hold up to 12 people in six bunk beds. Each troop will be housed together as a group. When registering for a cabin, Circle F requires at least 8 people per cabin. Learn more about our cabins and the Circle F Ranch.

Girl Scout Meals

Circle F provides 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday. Please submit dietary needs for your troop at least one week before your event weekend. We may not be able to accommodate special needs at the last minute. Read about our farm-to-table food.

Supervision

  • Supervision is the responsibility of the Troop Leaders, parents, and chaperones of each individual troop.
  • Circle F’s wranglers will lead Horseback Riding, under the leadership of our CHA-certified Barn Manager.
  • Circle F provides certified staff to teach archery and to belay at the climbing tower.
  • Lifeguards will be on duty during the times outlined on the schedule for guarding inflatables and assisting with boating. Swimming inside of the shallow dock area is at your own risk.

A deposit of $450.00 per cabin reserved at the time of registration is required. Weekends are expected to be paid in full one month prior to scheduled weekend.

How to Register

Please register through the cabin registration portal: Register Here Once reserved you will recieve an email with access to your your group portal. You are welcome to call the office at 863-676-4113 and our staff will be happy to assist you in answering any questions, but all registrations must be completed through the portal. Scouting weekends are very popular and do sell out often. Due to accommodations, reservations will be limited. Make your plans early.

All-Inclusive Package

  • Use of a cabin which sleeps 12 in 6 bunk beds. There is a minimum of 8 participants per cabin
  • 5 meals per person
  • All activities outlined above
  • Each young lady will receive a drawstring bag, commemorative pin, and a Girl Scout patch

Activity Notes

  • Alpine Tower & Giant Swing, Archery: Children participate before adults. Slots are scheduled based on the number of children in your troop, rather than by the number of total troop members. In most cases, not all adults will be able to participate.
  • Odyssey Course: Reservations for the Odyssey Course must be made a minimum of two weeks before your scheduled weekend.
