You want a place that feels safe, welcoming, and full of meaningful experiences. At Circle F Dude Ranch Camp, we offer all that and more. To help you get to know us better, we’ve put together the top 10 things that set Circle F apart and make us a great choice for first time campers (and their parents).
Circle F was founded in 1952, by George and Catheryn Fischbach, and it is still owned and operated by the Fischbach family. Camp isn’t just our business, it’s our legacy.
Between our Camp Director and Assistant Directors, we have over 65 years of combined experience in youth development and summer camp. Your child is in trusted, capable hands.
Located in Lake Wales, Circle F is easy to get to with convenient access to major highways and several international airports. Once you arrive, it feels like a world away, surrounded by trees, fresh air, and unmatched beauty.
Florida isn’t always the first place people think of for a traditional camp, but Circle F offers all the overnight camp classics. Plus, we have horseback riding and a Western spirit that sets us apart.
Our property includes a private lake, horse trails, and one of the last remaining historic scrub forests in the United States. It’s a natural playground where kids hike, explore, swim, and unplug from the world.
We own over 50 horses that live at camp year round. They’re gentle, well trained, and loved by our campers. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced rider, the barn is always a favorite place to be.
Horseback riding is one of many options at camp. Kids can spend all day at the barn, try it once, or focus on watersports, climbing arts, or athletics. There’s something for every camper here.
We offer not one, but three adventure challenges a rock climbing wall, the Alpine Tower, and the Odyssey Course. Each one offers campers something different to conquer, giving kids a chance to work together, gain confidence, and push their limits.
We don’t wear cowboy hats and boots all day, but we do live by the values you’d expect from a true dude ranch: camaraderie, respect, responsibility, and pitching in when someone needs a hand. These values shape the way our campers treat each other, and the way our staff supports your child.
Circle F is open year round! From Spring Break Camp to family weekends and private events, campers can enjoy the magic of camp beyond just the summer months.
Again and again, we hear it: “At Circle F, I can just be me.” That’s what camp is all about. We give your child a place that feels like their own. A place where they are happy, accepted, and free to be exactly who they are.
These are just a few of the many things that make Circle F special, but there’s so much more to discover. We invite you to explore our website, schedule a tour, or reach out to speak with one of our directors. We’re here to answer your questions and we can’t wait to welcome your family to camp!
