Being part of the Circle F Dude Ranch Staff is an awesome responsibility. We pride ourselves on the amazing staff that we bring in from around the world to work with our camper community. Beyond seeking the obvious traits of being an enthusiastic and dedicated individual when it comes to working with children, Circle F seeks individuals that are focused on our mission of Respect, Inspiration, Play, Positive thinking, Leadership, and Engagement. We want counselors to not just lead programs and activities, but fully interact with our camp community. From playing card and board games in the cabins at down time with their campers to dancing, cheering them on, and participating alongside campers in evening programs, counselors become an important piece in every camper’s experience. Circle F only hires staff over the age of 18. Most have completed their first year of college. The few that have not entered college previously attended Circle F’s five-week Counselor in Training program when they were seventeen. Counselors join our team with a variety of backgrounds. Most are seeking majors in education, youth development, and recreation. However, we have staff that major in theater, dance, equine studies, and a wide variety of other focuses. Each and every one brings their special talents to the team. Each year staff join us from all around the world. We have over 15 international staff joining us from the UK and as far as South Africa. From the United States staff are joining us from all over Florida and as far away as Oregon and Arizona. Being a camp counselor is a one-of-a-kind type job. It is intensely hard with long hours and constant focus. At the same time, it is fun and life-changing. Circle F Dude Ranch has almost completed its hiring for the season. If you know someone that you think might make a great counselor, we encourage you to have them apply by going here.
