Packing Suggestions PDF Print E-mail

So, you can’t remember the last time you went away by yourself? Or maybe you’ve never been on a special weekend just for you, with no kids, no significant other, pets, or cellular phone? Well, get ready for a weekend that will seem much longer, and one that you won’t forget! Here’s a list of suggested items to bring:

 

1) Your favorite casual T-shirt & jeans (Saturday night)

2) Two pairs of jeans (one for riding)

3) Four shirts (t’s, flannels, cover-ups, whatever you feel comfortable in)

4) Three pairs of shorts

5) One or two bathing suits

6) Exercise togs (leotard or bike shorts)

7) Tennis or aerobic footwear

8) Boots or hard soled shoes for riding (preferred, not mandatory)

9) Bandana(s) for riding (optional, of course)

10) Flashlight

11) Sunglasses with strap (avoid riding and losing them)

12) Lounge Chair

13) Camera & Film

14) Games your group would enjoy

15) Your pillow (we have them, most women like to bring their own)

16) Towels (we supply bed linens)

17) Snacks you can’t live without

18) Squirt guns, plastic bugs...this is camp, remember?!

19) Insect repellent (probably not necessary)

20) A light jacket, sweatshirt or windbreaker, in case it gets chilly

21) Yoga mat or towel for optional Yoga classes

22) The book you’ve been trying to finish reading or writing!

If you like, bring: tennis racket & balls, roller blades, mat or pad for exercise (a towel will do), video camera.
